The enchanting moment with nature today. During the trip, we visited the butterfly farm and bird park in KL which is just nearby.
The park is nice and beautiful made but I still like the one in Penang as there are a lot more butterfly there.

Enjoy a glimpse of more than 6,000 butterflies of over 120 species at this unique park.

The park is an imitation of the butterfly's natural habitat. It includes more than 15,000 plants from 100 species that have been used to recreate a Malaysian rainforest atmosphere. There is a nursery and breeding area for the butterflies.

Facilities include an informative insect museum. . It is a huge garden surrounded with netting, so the butterfly species cannot escape. It was my bad luck, that when I arrived it started raining, but luckily it stopped after around thirty minutes. The gardens are really impressing, as they have many rare and big butterflies flying. Most of them captive bred. There is a display where one can see who butterflies emerge out of the chrysalis (pupa). They also have display cages with alive insects, such as divert beetles species from Malaysia and a huge deadstock collection.

After the Butterfly farm visit, we headed to the Bird Park not far away from the farm. The bird parks is simply beautiful where you can see many birds flying around.

Located in the serene and scenic Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens, it is only 10 minutes drive away from the city centre of Kuala Lumpur. It is the home to more than 3,000 birds of approximately 200 species of local and foreign birds.
Sprawling approximately 20.9 acres of verdant valley terrain, the park is divided into 4 zones; Zone 1 and 2 make up the free-flight zone; Zone 3 is the Hornbill Park and Zone 4 is where the birds are placed in separate cages and mini aviaries.
One of KL Bird Park's most extraordinary feature is that in Zone 1, 2 and 3, birds are let free in the aviary which closely resembles their natural habitat. With this free-flight concept, birds are able to breed naturally in this unique environment.
