Makan Makan: Hi-Tea with Arts and View

A hi-tea with a perfect view is a luxury, but Elements Kuala Lumpur brings you more than that. This time, we visited them for the brand new concept of hightea which is ARTEASTRY.  And recently I am invited to enjoy their hi-tea there. And  if you are a big fans of hi-tea is time to visit here.

Started off with the savoury blend where the hi tea was presented in the box. Yes, a Bento box. It is filled with the savoury bites - Waffle with Salmon and Crème Fraiche, Apple Duck in Savory Cone, Chicken Sliders in Mini Croissant with Tomato Relish, Tomato and Basil Macaroon, Confit Portobello Mushroom and Swiss Cheese Bruschetta.

Have them together with the scones with cream and strawberry jam. Whats else, of course the refreshing Earl Grey Tea.

Now the magic starts, where every Chef turns to artist. They presents us with “The Red Splash”. It is one of the key highlights of ARTEASTRY, it is literally splashed on your table. 

While you sip on your coffee or tea, the chef places a white chocolate sphere and paints an edible artwork on the table with drops and strokes of Framboise a la Mascarpone, Raspberry Confit, Raspberries, Meringue Sticks, Vanilla Soil, Sponge Fingers and Mango Chutney on a piece of newspaper-like food grade paper. To end the theatrical performance, guests are invited to pick the white chocolate sphere and drop it in the middle of the art piece, creating a delectable mess on the table.  

The promotional price is RM78nett for 2 persons, starting from October until the end of November.

Thereafter, the ARTEASTRY will be priced at RM88nett for 2 persons. The ARTEASTRY high tea will only be available on weekends (Saturday & Sunday), from 1.00pm to 5.00pm at the TRACE Restaurant and Bar, in Element Kuala Lumpur.
