Grace Chinese School Progress

Grace first day at school marks her crying day. It is her first day for school where we sent her to Chinese School which is indeed a tough decision as I am a banana. We had heard a lot from the loads of parents that they need to know at least 2000 character before going in to standard 1. There is also many standards to keep them on par and tuiton is necessary.

Grace is in her class which is 1N and the class completes with 36 pupils all together. School is just nearby and we choose because it is just a few blocks away from our home. Education wise will be all in Chinese except for two subjects which is English and Malay. Medium of speaking in the class will be in Chinese.

What we can see in Grace progress after a week is she is able to converse simple Chinese with the friends.
