LENDING HANDS FOR A BETTER CAUSE

For some, access to basic necessities is a challenge. In this regard, Lost World Of Tambun (LWOT) continues its community initiative with its Do Good, Feel Good campaign by inviting visitors to enjoy the park while simultaneously give back to the underprivileged. Visitors will be rewarded with a complimentary Lost World Of Tambun adult ticket upon donation of items.

Its 2017 edition saw 470 benevolent Malaysians contributing to the cause with a total of 1128 products donated! This year, the campaign will run for three days on 31st May to 3rd June 2018 (between 12pm to 4pm only) with the goods distribution taking place on 6th June 2018 to the needy.

Visitors can donate from rice, milk powder, breakfast cereal boxes, biscuits and more. All donations must be Halal certified with an expiry date of October 2018 onwards and be worth minimum RM30 and above in a single receipt or combined (only 1 ticket redemption is allowed per person).

Further attesting to LWOT’s social efforts, the premier and eco-adventure theme park destination hosted 23 pax from Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB), Kinta Valley Training and Rehabilitation Centre. The students had an exciting experience by learning how to respond to being in water and petting animals at the Lost World Petting Zoo, with the aid of their chaperons.
Chrystal Home’s 41 residents were also treated to a fun day out in conjunction with a Charity Day event hosted by MNS Allianz PLT and E&S Allianz PLT (Under Allianz Malaysia) on 5th May 2018.
“In all activities and campaigns that we do, we want our visitors be part of the process. To see the generosity of Malaysians contributing for a better cause and the smiles of all that come through our doors, that is the best reward for us. With the different facets that are in store at LWOT, one can learn, interact and experience multiple adventures suited for visitors of all ages from the 6th Mile Tunnel, mystical Luminous Forest, thrilling attractions to learning about animals – all in a conducive and safe environment,” said Mr. Nurul Nuzairi Mohd Azahari, General Manager of Lost World Of Tambun.
