FUN FACT 2 : Why The Sea Water is Salty

Yeah! We brought Grace to the seaside and she asked us Why The Sea Water is Salty? And why NOT river water Salty?

There goes another questions from her. The reason is the salt in the ocean comes from rocks on land. The rain that falls on the land contains some dissolved carbon dioxide from the surrounding air. This causes the rainwater to be slightly acidic due to carbonic acid. With the rain from the sky, it had added in some reactions in the atoms that create the sea to be salty. As so, that WHY the SEA is Salty
