For decades, Toys“R”Us and Geoffrey have been helping children and families use the power of their imagination to learn and grow. As the world enters a new era of technology-driven developmental play, it’s time to take a moment to celebrate the ever-evolving and pioneering giraffe.

2019: Celebrating Geoffrey’s Birthday
This year Toys“R”Us Asia is celebrating Geoffrey’s Day by bringing to life a birthday celebration squad, designed by children across Asia and based on the child’s own imaginary friends.

Walk into Toys“R”Us in Mid Valley Megamall or 1 Utama Shopping Centre, turn on your Facebook augmented reality filter and begin searching for the hidden birthday celebration squad, who will unlock Geoffrey’s Goofy gang to celebrate his birthday with him. Recycloud from Malaysia, Strawberry Princess from Hong Kong and Cupcakety from Singapore are just 3 of the 14 imaginary friends you can find, hidden all over the store. At each store, the first 50 participants who successfully find and scan the imaginary friends will win exclusive limited edition Geoffrey premium goodie bags. Geoffrey’s birthday squad can be found at Mid Valley Megamall and 1 Utama Shopping Centre from 7 to 30 October 2019.

Other in-store activities for Geoffrey’s Day 2019 include:
1) Meet and Greet Session with Geoffrey at Toys“R”Us Mid Valley Megamall daily from Friday, 18 October to Sunday, 20 October 2019. Geoffrey will appear to meet his friends in four 30-minute sessions daily, at 1.30pm, 3.30pm, 5.30pm and 8.00pm. Don’t miss your chance to have your photo taken with Geoffrey. 2) Activity Booths – There will be fun activities aplenty at Mid Valley Megamall in conjunction with Geoffrey’s Day. From 17 to 20 October, have fun with Thomas & Friends - The World Of Thomas with displays of tracksets from the latest TRACKMASTER series and let the kids spend some time at the Thomas Playtable, getting hands on with samples of the latest TRACKMASTER tracksets. Customers can get a Thomas & Friends™ Storybook Set worth RM59.90 with a minimum spend of RM120.

Meanwhile, from 19 to 20 October, the little ones can have fun with Hatchimals, Awesome Blossems and Owleez. See demonstrations of products from Hatchimals Season 5 and 6, Hatchimals Pixies, HatchiWOW and Awesome Blossems, and teach the Owleez to fly and play! Also on 19 to 20 October are new product demonstrations of the Fisher-Price Linkimals. Customers can get a free Fisher Price Cutlery Set with every purchase of Linkimals products.
