vivo’s first foldable smartphone with a stylus pen has been revealed online, following its official announcement of a global partnership with ZEISS for mobile imaging technology. According to LetsGoDigital, vivo has filed a design patent with the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office) in February 2020.
As per the images, the pen’s tip is made of soft rubber material to avoid scratches on the screen. It can be stored in a unique hinge design with a silo and minimize the chances of users losing the stylus with the use of magnetic material.

Besides, the foldable smartphone design features an inward folding screen that unfolds into a tablet that could function for business use as well.

However, the specifications and other features of the foldable smartphone are yet to be revealed. From the foldable smartphone patented design, it showcases vivo’s effort in developing user-centric products including its recent winning in Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2020 for its IFEA (Interest, Free, Explore, Amazing) camera design.
