MR D.I.Y. partners 7 financial service providers to offer Mega Cashback to customers

 Malaysians can now rejoice as more cashback and discounts come their way this festive season from Malaysia’s largest home improvement retailer, MR D.I.Y. Group (M) Berhad (MR D.I.Y). The retailer is partnering with three banks and four e-wallet providers to offer Mega Cashback across its MR. D.I.Y., MR. TOY, and MR. DOLLAR stores from 15 January to 28 February 2022. 

The  three banks and four e-wallet platforms are HSBC, Public Bank, MAE by Maybank, as well as Touch ‘n Go eWallet, ShopeePay, GrabPay and Boost. 

Alex Goh, Head of Marketing, MR. D.I.Y. Group said the retailer wants to  help customers stretch their ringgit further this Chinese New Year. 

“This is the first time we are partnering with seven financial service providers in one programme.   Customers are looking forward to stocking up on festive and home essentials to make the festive season even more meaningful for their loved ones; it is a perfect time to reward them with cashback and discounts. With Mega Cashback and our promise of “Always Low Prices”, we can help Malaysians save even more,” added Goh.

Goh said this ‘Mega Cashback’ programme is also timely for Malaysians as it also allowed Malaysians to stock up on personal protective essentials at discounted prices. “We want all Malaysians to have a safe celebration, secure in the knowledge that they have all the essential personal protective items they need.  For us, the  ‘Mega Cashback’ programme, it’s not just about low prices, but also absolute peace of mind.” 

The Mega Cashback promotion runs as follows:

15 January - 28 February 2022

HSBC (MR. D.I.Y.) - RM10.00 cashback with a minimum spend of RM50

Public Bank (MR. D.I.Y. / MR. DOLLAR / MR. TOY) - RM8 cashback with a minimum spend of RM50.00*

17 January - 28 February 2022

GrabPay (MR. D.I.Y.) - In-store: Get 30 percent off (up to RM10) with a minimum spend of RM33.00

18 January - 27 February 2022

MAE by Maybank (MR. D.I.Y. / MR. DOLLAR / MR. TOY) - Scan and pay, to get daily cashback up to RM88.00 with a minimum spend of RM30*

1 February - 28 February 2022

Touch n’Go e-wallet (MR. D.I.Y. / MR. DOLLAR / MR. TOY) - Get RM3.00 cashback with a minimum spend of RM40.00*

Boost (MR. D.I.Y.) - RM5.00 cashback with a minimum spend of RM30.00, plus win RM100 Boost MR. D.I.Y. wallet

In addition to keeping to their promise of “Always Low Prices”, the retailer has also committed to a nationwide “Price Lock: Harga Kami Tetap Sama” initiative.  Under this initiative, the retailer has committed to not raising prices of all products across its three brands - MR. D.I.Y., MR. TOY and MR. DOLLAR - until 31 March 2022.
