Samsung Bags Five Prestigious Awards Thanks to Ethos of Placing the Consumer First

 



Over the decades, Samsung Malaysia Electronics has redefined what the Malaysian consumer has come to expect in their daily lives thanks to its innovative technologies and unparalleled devices and services. This endeavor, to put their consumers first and strive to be the leading brand in the market, has been further affirmed as the company was bestowed the ‘Hall of Fame’ recognition and crowned the Brand of The Year at the Putra Brand Awards 2021.


 


The event, which was held last week, also saw Samsung Malaysia Electronics take home the Platinum Award in three prestigious categories, “Communications Devices”, “Cameras, IT and Office & Business Equipment” and “Personal, Household & Outdoor Appliances”. The brand’s presence in varying categories exemplifies the long history Samsung has in developing cross-category innovations that have driven society forward.

The Putra Brand Awards is an annual premier brand awards event in Malaysia that recognises the consumer preference of local and international brands. To determine the winners, the Putra Brand Awards conducts a robust consumer research method in which 11,000 consumers vote for their favourite brands within multiple categories, therefore establishing Malaysian consumers themselves as the judges and award-givers of this distinguished event.
