It’s a brand new ride for Rudy and Marizainee!

 It has turned out to be a very exciting Hari Raya Aidilfitri season for Rudy Marzuki, 50, and Marizainee Mat Hussin, 49! 

The two lucky individuals emerged as Grand Prize winners of the ‘MR. D.I.Y. and MR. DOLLAR x P&G Beli & Menang’ contest jointly organised by Malaysia’s favourite home improvement retailer MR D.I.Y. and consumer goods company Procter & Gamble Sdn Bhd (P&G).

Rudy drove home a brand new Honda City Hatchback S, while Marizainee won herself a Yamaha Lagenda 115Z.

Commenting on his win, Rudy, an ICT consultant from Kelantan said, “I was super happy to hear I had won the grand prize of this contest.  I had plans to change my car after Raya, and now MR D.I.Y and P&G have given me the best Raya gift ever!” 

Sharing the excitement was  Marizainee, a KL-ite who is self-employed. She said “This is the first time I’m participating in a contest organised by MR DOLLAR.  I really love shopping there, and by chance, I happened to see the details of the contest when I was shopping with a friend.  We both took part and I’m lucky to have won!”

The MR D.I.Y. contest saw more than 590 lucky customers walk away with prizes worth RM148,888, including iPhone 13 Pros for the two 2nd prize winners, Dyson V12 Detect Slim Fluffy vacuum cleaners for the four 3rd prize winners, plus MR D.I.Y and MR. DOLLAR cash vouchers as 588 consolation prizes. Meanwhile, MR. DOLLAR contest saw the winners walk away with attractive prizes, including Samsung 43 inch AU7700 4K UHD Smart TV as the 2nd prize and cash vouchers as 188 consolation prizes. 

The retailer is currently running the fifth edition of its MR. D.I.Y x P&G “Raya & Menang” contest, until  31 May 2022. All customers have to do is to buy RM15 of P&G products in a single receipt, scan the QR code and answer two simple questions.  The contest offers more than 100 weekly prizes with a SMEG 50’s style refrigerator as its Grand Prize.
