Double Celebration for Canon’s 35th Anniversary!

Global leader in photography and digital imaging solutions Canon Marketing Malaysia (“Canon”) is now celebrating its 35th birthday bash across the country.

To mark the “35 Delightful Years”, Canon embarked on a super camera roadshow called the EOS R Nationwide Tour 2022 in Malaysia throughout the months of June and July. Shutterbugs are thrilled with Canon’s full range of R-series cameras and RF lenses which were showcased; offering a unique opportunity to try out the cameras in a variety of fun and insightful ways.

Not only did they get to try out the cameras by taking pictures of various subjects, but they also got to check out the camera service counters and booths highlighting different features of the cameras. The booths offer three main activities for the participants namely capturing images in low light conditions, portrait (Eye AF or Auto Focus) and image stabilisation technology when taking pictures.

They enjoyed the invaluable experience of listening to notable professional photographers and a videographer such as Teoh Peng Kee, Johnson Wee who is one of Canon Malaysia’s EOS Ambassadors and Baron Abas. This includes an exhibition by the guest speakers on birding, wedding, lifestyle and street photography using the EOS R3, EOS R5, EOS R6 & EOS R7 cameras.

“Our goal of conducting the EOS R Nationwide Tour 2022 this year is to re-conceptualise photography for our end-users and camera enthusiasts alike. With the newly introduced Canon EOS R7 and EOS R10 this year, both amateur and professional photographers are equipped with features which amplify their photographic talents while pushing the boundaries of the EOS R series line-up,” explained Hunter Zhang, Director of Image Communications Business Division, Canon Marketing Malaysia.

“The latest EOS R line-up guarantees the highest level of quality when it comes to capturing moments and offers significant advances in auto-focusing performance. Listening to our customers' feedback is Canon’s driver in improving the EOS R series to create new possibilities” he added.

The roadshows are intended to provide a hands-on-experience for amateurs and professionals alike of the EOS R series camera range (R3, R5, R5 C, R6, R7, R10, R, RP), and this allow participants to try out the cameras and lenses in person. Canon features its comprehensive range of input to output products, where participants from all walks of life can cherish their memorable moments by having their pictures taken as a memento. Delivering top-notch gear and solutions for photographers is Canon's commitment in supporting its customers' creative expression.
