OnePlus Introduces Exclusive Warranty Policy Extension for Existing OnePlus Users, Alongside Expanding Its Official Authorised Service Centre Network in Malaysia

OnePlus is introducing an exclusive warranty policy that will benefit existing OnePlus smartphone users in Malaysia, starting 15th July, alongside the addition of two OnePlus official authorised service centres in Malaysia. This is in line with OnePlus’ commitment to bring the full OnePlus experience to Malaysian consumers, giving OnePlus users greater access to complimentary professional repairs and device maintenance services for an extended period of time.

Andy Shi, APAC President for OPPO and OnePlus brand said, “OnePlus has always been known for creating exquisitely designed devices with premium build quality and flagship-worthy hardware. Underlining all that, however, we believe in the importance of cultivating a strong bond and growing together with our Malaysian community as well. After all, the strength of OnePlus as a brand has always been driven by its passionate community – no matter where they are around the globe.”

He added, “As we officially step into the Malaysian market with OnePlus, it is only natural for us to not only endeavour to benefit new users who are excited to become a part of the growing OnePlus community, but also those who have been with us before this journey. As such, expanding our official authorised service centre network to better serve our Malaysian customers, we are also providing our updated warranty services to give both our old and news users alike a hassle-free OnePlus journey.”

From 15th July to 15th September 2022, in- and out-warranty OnePlus smartphone users – covering the models OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 8T, OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 9R, OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus N10, OnePlus N100, OnePlus Nord 1, OnePlus Nord 2, OnePlus Nord CE, and OnePlus Nord CE 2 – will get to enjoy OnePlus’ multi-level customer support through its exclusive warranty extension policy*.

During this period, existing OnePlus users can visit the two new official authorised service centres to have their smartphones repaired. Alternatively, they can also go directly to any participating OnePlus retail store to enjoy postal repair services – OnePlus smartphones sent in for repairs will be delivered to the authorised service centres free of charge. Lastly, existing OnePlus users can also leverage on the self-postal repair service option, where they can send in their smartphones to 1 Powerhouse OnePlus Authorised SIR Centre, with the send-in courier fee borne by the user and the returning courier fee borne by the SIR centre. This follows the introduction of the two newest additions to the OnePlus Nord Series, the company’s affordable smartphone line to the Malaysian market – namely, the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. The launch of both smartphones on 14th July marks OnePlus’ first-ever official launch in Malaysia, reiterating the brand’s commitment to Malaysian customers and OnePlus enthusiasts, as well as delivering on the promise to Never Settle.
