Celebrate Merdeka with iQIYI’s Hiburan Cara Malaysia

 With Merdeka and Malaysia Day just around the corner, iQIYI is inviting everyone to celebrate in the most Malaysian way possible, through its Hiburan Cara Malaysia campaign. From 31st August to 16th September 2022, iQIYI will be transforming its app interface that highlights the spirit of patriotism. There will also be a giveaway drama addicts can participate on the official iQIYI social media pages to win exclusive prizes! 

As part of its Hiburan Cara Malaysia campaign, iQIYI app users can look out for Malaysian elements in the app’s aesthetics and iQIYI logo including the Jalur Gemilang, KLCC and other iconic national landmarks.

The one thing Malaysians are most proud of is our Malaysian slang. To add on to the national holiday celebrations, iQIYI will also be running a social media contest with attractive prizes up for grabs. All you need to do is to Malaysianise some of the most iconic dialogues from dramas airing on iQIYI. 

The best Malaysianised drama dialogues can win special prizes such as a FUJIFILM Instax Mini 11 Instant Camera, and a pair of admission tickets to symbolic Malaysian marvels including KL Tower, KLCC Observation Deck, KL Forest Eco Park and FRIM Forest Skywalk. See You Again depicts romance that transcends time and space. Xiang Qinyu, is a movie star who is arrogant on the outside but actually a softie inside from the 1930s. He finds himself transported to the modern era after he gets shot on set while filming, where he meets Jin Ayin, a rookie screenwriter who is simple and quick-witted. The two fall in love as Qinyu investigates his ‘death’ and seeks to uncover the truth behind his reincarnation.
