‘Membeli Untuk Memberi’ Pakej Raya Lazada to be Donated to Over 3,000 Beneficiaries and Communities In Need Across Malaysia

 

Southeast Asia’s eCommerce pioneer Lazada is collaborating with Islamic Relief Malaysia and MyFundAction for its donation campaign and social impact initiative, ‘Membeli Untuk Memberi'. This charitable campaign will run throughout the month of Ramadan, from 20 March until 21 April 2023, where Lazada will contribute towards a donation fund for its NGO partners, Islamic Relief Malaysia and MyFundAction, with every applicable order* on its platform.

The charitable fund will enable NGO partners to prepare and distribute in-kind ‘Pakej Raya’ sets, consisting of essential food items such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, canned food, hygiene products, and other basic necessities. This will be distributed to more than 3,000 beneficiaries across Malaysia, including communities in PPR, special care homes, and orphanages

During the ‘Memberi Untuk Memberi’ in-kind donation handover ceremony on 30 March 2023, Lazada presented the ‘Pakej Raya’ sets to 60 beneficiaries that joined the NGO partners and media for a special buka puasa. On top of that, Lazada Logistics vans and the NGO’s trucks have been mobilised nationwide to deliver the ‘Pakej Raya’ sets to beneficiaries in Kuantan, Kajang, Nilai dan Puchong in March. Whereas in April, they will be delivering more ‘Pakej Raya’ Lazada to beneficiaries in Tanah Merah, Batu Pahat, Segamat, Kuala Nerang, Melaka, Teluk Panglima Garang, Klang, Beranang, Lembah Subang, Shah Alam, Gombak, Setapak, Pandan Perdana, Titiwangsa, Kota Kinabalu, Keningau, Kundasang, Semporna and more areas to come.

Through ‘Membeli Untuk Memberi’, Lazada aims to assist as many beneficiaries as possible and this is only possible with the kind support and participation from Lazada’s valued customers that have contributed to this good cause.
