Nu Skin Celebrates 20 Years of Empowering Communities with Force For Good Day

Nu Skin Malaysia, a leading provider of integrated beauty and wellness products, commemorates 20 years of giving back to local communities and nurturing future generations through the annual Force For Good Day which was held on Monday.

Force For Good Day is an integral part of Nu Skin's corporate social responsibility initiatives, reflecting the company's dedication to humanitarian efforts locally and globally. This special initiative brings together Nu Skin brand affiliates, employees, and their families to engage in meaningful local service projects that directly benefit at-risk children worldwide.

Hendrix Wong, Vice President, Market Operations of Nu Skin Malaysia and Brunei said, “The Nu Skin Force For Good mission is to allow children to lead healthy and fulfilling lives, no matter their education and economic circumstances, offering hope for a brighter future. The idea of giving back to the community serves as a core value to us in who we are and what we do. This culture that we embrace not only provides innovative efforts that serve the community but also unites the Nu Skin family of brand affiliates, customers, and employees.”

Locally, the Force For Good Day aims to expose children to new experiences to inculcate into them knowledge beyond the classroom. Nu Skin Malaysia and its partners, Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) Foundation and Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur invited 19 families who are beneficiaries of the Southeast Asia Children’s Heart Fund (SEACHF) for a day of educational fun at ToyEight @ The Gardens Mall, Kuala Lumpur.

As part of Nu Skin’s commitment in supporting the future generation, the educational outing included Child Development Screenings through interactive games. Parents received a developmental report that provided insight and advice from developmental experts, through an evaluation of 5 main domains (gross motor, fine motor, speech and language, cognitive development, and social/adaptive behaviour) and a detailed breakdown of their child’s performance.

These screenings were thoughtfully designed by ToyEight and in partnership with University Malaya, Sunway University, certified clinical developmental psychologist, and renown game developer to monitor children’s growth development and to enable the provision of appropriate support and guidance for parents. Furthermore, parents were able to attend a parenting talk hosted by Sharifah Nur’ Addawiyah, a specialist in Special Education for children, where they were able to understand what they could do to support and nurture their child’s development further.

To wrap up the event, both parents and children were able to enjoy full access to the ToyEight Playground to experience a range of interactive and educational play experiences suitable for children of all ages. This unique opportunity allowed families to strengthen their bonds while engaging in stimulating activities that fostered lasting memories.

Nu Skin remains committed in empowering individuals and communities, and the resounding success of the 20th Anniversary of Force For Good Day exemplifies the company's unwavering dedication to making a meaningful difference. By joining forces with local partners and engaging in hands-on service projects, Nu Skin aspires to create a brighter future for communities both locally and globally.
