Maxim E-hailing Conducts 16 Charity Programs During Ramadhan With 7,000 Packs Of Food Dis-tributed

Maxim E-hailing held a month-long campaign during the beginning of Ramadhan, conducting several activi-ties throughout the country including Sabah, Sarawak, and the federal territory of Labuan. This campaign aimed to spread the spirit and happiness of the holy month of Ramadhan.

The charity events aimed to build a strong relationship with the locals and celebrate Ramadhan together. Not only that, Maxim also hopes that this effort will create a positive image for everyone, especially the users. The users should know that when they spend money on transportation, it also channels into a good effort.

“The event brings much joy and smiles to the recipients. Our company is dedicated to making a positive impact in the community by giving out food for charity during Ramadhan. Through our efforts to provide food for those who are fasting, we aim to interact with the community and uplift those who require assis-tance. It is our commitment to play a role in making this kind of activity and making a difference in the lives of others,” says Mohd Hazwan, Director of Maxim E-hailing Malaysia

Maxim E-hailing conducted the event in Sungai Petani, Kuala Terengganu, Kuantan, Kota Bahru, Bintulu, Sibu, Kuching, Miri, Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan, Sandakan, Tawau and Kota Kinabalu. The total number of dates for the whole campaign amounted to around 5,000 packs, and 2,000 packs of Bubur Lambuk were also shared.

The collaboration was made with the local mosque, orphanage, and bazaar. The distribution of food was made in the evening or Iftar time, as Maxim focused on the time when there were a lot of people present in these places. The more receivers, the more food shared.

“This program is aimed at not only strengthening the relationship between the community and the Maxim team. We take it as a chance to get to know our users more. At the same time, the distribution of Bubur Lambuk to the residents of Miri City also introduces Maxim to a wider audience who may potentially use Maxim's services in the future. Not only do activities like these provide publicity for Maxim, but they also create a positive perception of us for the local community,” says Gary J. Lim, Head of the Maxim subdivi-sion in Miri.

Ramadhan is considered a generous and giving month, when Muslims take the opportunity to donate and share with others. Maxim took part in this too, and the team hopes that by sharing, they will bring joy and happiness to the receivers.

“I'm so grateful for the event, as Maxim provided food to everyone who came to the mosque. The team from Maxim also guided me through their application and introduced their services that will help me, espe-cially with transportation and delivery,” said one of the participants of this event.

Maxim E-hailing would like to use this opportunity to wish Happy Ramadhan to all the Muslims in Malaysia and all over the world. This effort will be the company’s annual program as it has a positive impact on the community
