Spanning from 22 April to 30 June 2024, consumers were invited to purchase their favourite Mondelēz products and submit proof of purchase for a chance to win life-changing cash prizes. The campaign culminated in a celebration of hope and excitement, with five grand prize winners and 30 first prize winners selected.
“I’ve always dreamed of going for Umrah, but with family commitments, it seemed out of reach,” shared Pn. Suwarni binti Termuji, 44, a mother of four from Klang, Selangor, who won the grand prize. “Cadbury chocolates and Jacob’s cream crackers have been family favorites for years. I always pack them for my children when they return to their hostel after holidays. This win is more than just a prize, it’s a special moment that brings me closer to fulfilling a lifelong dream, while celebrating the simple joys my family has shared over the years.”
“I couldn’t believe it when I got the call!” shared Mr. Chan Teh Kiew, 62, from Johor Bahru, one of the grand prize winners. He had entered the contest by purchasing Jacob’s crackers for charity, never expecting to win. “This RM100,000 is truly a blessing, and I’ll be giving it to my daughter so she can renovate her house. I’m incredibly thankful to Mondelēz International for this life-changing opportunity.”
The other grand prize winners also shared similar sentiments, expressing how the unexpected windfall will help with essential expenses such as paying off debts and long overdue house renovations.
