ZUS COFFEE CELEBRATES ITS FIFTH ANNIVERSARY WITH A SWEET ENDING FEATURING THE LOKAL KASI VOKAL CONCERT!
From a humble coffee kiosk in Kuala Lumpur to more than 500 stores around Malaysia, ZUS Coffee’s remarkable expansion over the past five years would not have been possible without the unwavering support of Malaysians, who have made ZUS Coffee as part of their daily necessities and empowered it to grow into a proud local brand.
“At ZUS Coffee, we believe that a cup of coffee is a necessity, not a luxury. We are excited to celebrate ZUS Coffee’s 5th anniversary with the community that has been crucial to our remarkable growth over the last five years. Our success wouldn't be possible without the steadfast support of our fellow Malaysians," said Venon Tian, Chief Operating Officer of ZUS Coffee.
“We take pride in showcasing Malaysian businesses during this tour and are eager to further enhance this vibrant community space that encourages and supports one another. This tour represents our ongoing commitment to delivering necessities everywhere. While we proudly embrace being Buatan Malaysia, our vision for the future is clear - to share the cherished flavours and warmth of Malaysia with the world. This celebration is not only a reflection on our achievements, but also a launchpad toward new horizons.”
The festival commenced with a lively Kampung Made in Malaysia bazaar in the morning, featuring a handpicked selection of local vendors and food stalls. The bazaar offered a platform for small Asian businesses, with highlights from key partners like HYGR, Spritzer, POS Malaysia, and Munchy’s. Attendees also got the first look at the limited-edition merchandise line from a special collaboration between ZUS Coffee and the renowned local apparel brand Pestle & Mortar Clothing. Hosted at The Great Lawn of Resorts World Awana, exclusively presented by Resorts World Genting, the bazaar celebrated the vibrancy of Malaysian-made products.
The excitement continued into the evening with the Lokal Kasi Vokal concert, featuring an impressive lineup of performances, including the exciting debut of ZUS Coffee’s official mascots, known as ZUS Buddies, during the opening act! The night unfolded with more stunning performances from Malaysia icons Jaclyn Victor, Faizal Tahir, and Ella, along with rising stars Bunga, Midnight Fusic, LOKO, and Zeppo Youngsterz.
The ‘Made in Malaysia Tour’ launched in Sarawak and then Sabah, before travelling through 11 states across West Malaysia, spotlighting local businesses and artisans with each stop. This tour is part of ZUS Coffee’s broader mission to support and uplift fellow Malaysian businesses.
With over 3,000 attendees at the grand finale, the Lokal Kasi Vokal festival exemplifies ZUS Coffee’s role as more than just a coffee brand – it’s a catalyst for cultural celebration and community connection.
