Paydibs Unveils NEO All-in-One Terminal to Streamline In‑Store Payments

Malaysian fintech provider Paydibs today launched Paydibs NEO, an all-in-one terminal designed to simplify in-store payments and support the evolving needs of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). Built to simplify in-store payments and consolidate fragmented payment methods into one compact unified terminal, NEO reflects the company’s renewed brand purpose: Payment Inclusion. Beyond Transactions.

This launch marks a key milestone in Paydibs’ next phase of growth, aimed at making secure, modern payment solutions more accessible to businesses of every size.  NEO addresses a common challenge faced by many merchants today with fragmented payment methods from QR placards, rental-based card terminals and voice-only soundboxes. By bringing everything into one sleek, integrated terminal, NEO offers a simpler, smarter way to manage payments in-store.

NEO supports a wide range of payment methods suited for today’s digital-first customers. It currently accepts dynamic DuitNow QR, which displays a unique, transaction-specific code generated by the terminal for each payment. This supports leading e-wallets such as Touch ’n Go (TNG), GrabPay, MAE, Boost and MCash, with additional integrations underway. Card acceptance including contactless (wave), chip and PIN will soon be enabled for MyDebit, Visa and Mastercard. NEO is also ready to support Buy Now Pay Later services, with Shopee PayLater, Grab PayLater, Atome and AhaPay expected to roll out in phases.

Key features include dual screens for merchant and customer visibility, a chip-and-PIN slot for secure transactions, a physical keypad and built-in voice confirmation in multiple languages. Merchants can also access the transaction history directly on the terminal without logging into a separate portal. For larger businesses, NEO can also integrate with existing POS systems to streamline operations and provide a more seamless payment experience.

Supporting both WiFi and SIM connectivity, NEO provides businesses with reliable connection options based on their setup and needs. Merchants can also opt into a 12-month Maxis data plan at RM30, one of the most cost-effective bundled offers in the market. The terminal runs on a 2600mAh battery that delivers over 48 hours of active use and certified by PCI DSS, EMV and SIRIM, meeting recognised standards for payment security and compliance.

NEO is now available at a launch price of RM189 for the first 2,000 units (RRP RM259) with no contracts or annual fees. Onboarding is fully digital and requires only a valid SSM registration number, with approvals typically completed within 60 minutes. Paydibs will begin shipping NEO on 23 June 2025.

The launch of NEO marks the beginning of Paydibs’ broader product expansion strategy. With plans to introduce embedded financing and deeper integration with national payment infrastructure, the company remains focused on delivering solutions that support business continuity, operational efficiency and long-term growth.
