The LEGO Group and Shopee Malaysia Encourage Malaysians Nationwide to “Bina Bersama, Cipta Cerita”

 The LEGO Group has officially unveiled its “Bina Bersama, Cipta Cerita” campaign in Malaysia, bringing the joy of LEGO play closer to families nationwide through its e-commerce partner, Shopee Malaysia.

The campaign, launched in conjunction with the upcoming Malaysia Day celebrations, aims to highlight how LEGO play goes beyond bricks and sets—it is about building memories, creativity, and connections with loved ones.

Building Together, Creating Stories

At the heart of the campaign is a simple but powerful message: LEGO is for everyone. Whether living in a bustling city or a small town, Malaysians can now access 100% authentic LEGO sets directly through the LEGO Official Shop on Shopee Mall, with fast nationwide delivery ensuring every creation begins sooner.

To further encourage participation, first-time buyers will enjoy an exclusive “New Buyer Voucher” offering 11% off selected LEGO sets until 31 December 2025.

A Call to Creativity

The campaign was inspired by LEGO’s global survey of over 32,000 respondents, including 1,009 parents and 551 children in Malaysia. Findings revealed that 97% of parents wish their children could build more often, yet 72% of children feel pressured to be perfect—leading to fear of mistakes.

“Bina Bersama, Cipta Cerita encourages Malaysians to set aside perfection, embrace creativity, and build freely,” said a LEGO Malaysia spokesperson. “It’s not just about assembling bricks—it’s about sharing ideas, sparking imagination, and strengthening family bonds.”

The campaign showcases local creativity with families and friends building LEGO versions of their home states. Examples include a mini Mount Kinabalu built by a family in Sabah, and LEGO cats created by Sarawak friends to represent Kuching.
