Sanrio’s beloved mischief-maker is coming to town! To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Kuromi, Central i-City is transforming into Malaysia’s biggest-ever Kuromi Wonderland.
Organised by Central i-City and One Universal Production Sdn Bhd, this landmark event marks Malaysia’s first-ever large-scale Kuromi event and official Kuromi birthday celebration.
The 44-day celebration kicks off on November 29 and runs until January 11, 2026, turning the mall into a must-visit year-end destination for fans, families and anyone who loves a bit of cute chaos.
Malaysia’s First Kuromi Meet & Greet
For the first time ever, Kuromi will be meeting fans right here in Malaysia. Across the exclusive meet-and-greet sessions, visitors will get the rare chance to snap photos, say hello and interact with the playful character up close.
Whether you’ve been a Sanrio fan for years or you’ve only just fallen for Kuromi’s charm, this is the moment many have been waiting for.
The World’s Largest Kuromi Inflatable Playground Featuring a 8-Metre Giant Kuromi
The centrepiece of the celebration is the officially licensed Kuromi Inflatable Playland, the largest of its kind in Malaysia.
Standing right in the mall's central concourse is a 8-metre-tall giant Kuromi installation –perfect for photo opportunities, and plenty of joyful squeals from both kids and adults. Filled with Insta-worthy corners, the inflatable zone brings fans straight into Kuromi’s world. From couples to families, there’s a new favourite snapshot waiting at every turn. The Kuromi Pop-Up Store will be open throughout the event, offering limited-edition merchandise – from plushies and stationery to bags, accessories, and special 20th- anniversary collectibles.

More Than Just Kuromi: Games, Activities & Christmas Cheer
The Kuromi Wonderland also features activities suitable for all ages, including carnival-style game booths, dance machines, themed photo spots, and interactive activity zones.
With Christmas just around the corner, Central i-City will also host festive programmes such as magic shows, Christmas carols, talent showcases, live bands, clown and balloon acts, and Santa walkabout sessions. There will also be a Christmas colouring contest, as well as a talent and catwalk competition designed to encourage kids to express their creativity and confidence.
