Singapore Tourism Board and Grab Launch Campaign to Discover Singapore’s Precincts and Do More After Dark
The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Grab, Southeast Asia's leading superapp, have launched a joint marketing campaign to reach travel audiences from Southeast Asia. The campaign will also target all travellers arriving in Singapore, to inspire them to discover more of Singapore and get greater value from their trips.

The three-month campaign which runs from August to October is part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between STB and Grab last year, which committed both organisations to collaborate across joint marketing, data insights sharing, tourism product enhancements, and support for leisure and business events.
Unlocking Greater Value Through the Grab Travel Pass
Tourists arriving in Singapore can unlock more value through the Singapore Grab Travel Pass, a bundled offering of discounts on rides, food, and more. For this campaign, Grab will enhance the existing Travel Pass with two new bonus ride vouchers to encourage deeper exploration.
The first voucher covers trips to and from tourism precincts such as Katong-Joo Chiat, Mandai, and Sentosa, drawing visitors beyond the city centre and into Singapore's diverse neighbourhoods. Katong-Joo Chiat is home to Peranakan shophouses, vibrant murals, boutique shops, and cozy cafes; Mandai combines wildlife parks, rainforest adventures, nature-based stays and night experiences in one precinct while Sentosa offers new attractions, beach adventures and family-friendly fun rolled into one.
The second voucher encourages after-dark exploration, offering discounts on rides to and from areas such as Clarke Quay and Boat Quay for trips taken between 7pm and 4am, making it easier for visitors to enjoy Singapore’s lifestyle experiences and events at night. Visitors can enjoy a diverse mix of night-time, dining and lifestyle experiences, from the newly-rejuvenated Zouk Singapore, to award-winning bars such as Offtrack and Bar Bon Funk. Thrill-seekers can also experience Slingshot and GX-5 Extreme Swing, while those visiting during August to October can soak in seasonal happenings around the precincts, including the Singapore River Festival, and activations as part of Grand Prix™ Season Singapore (GPSS) 2026.
"Singapore's compact size and diversity of experiences mean visitors can make the most of every moment, from cultural discoveries and family attractions to vibrant lifestyle experiences after dark. Through our partnership with Grab and its strong reach across Southeast Asia, we're inspiring more travellers to choose Singapore for their next trip. Together, we're combining destination storytelling with tangible benefits, encouraging visitors to explore more, spend more across our tourism ecosystem, and leave with memorable experiences that inspire them to return," said Mr Terrence Voon, Executive Director for Southeast Asia at STB.
"One of the best ways to experience Singapore is to explore it neighbourhood by neighbourhood. From discovering local food and heritage in Katong-Joo Chiat, to spending the day at Mandai or enjoying the city after dark, each part of Singapore offers something different. Together with STB, we're making it easier for travellers to get around and experience more of these moments through the enhanced Singapore Grab Travel Pass, encouraging them to discover more of Singapore while supporting the local businesses and communities that give each neighbourhood its unique character,” said Mr Alejandro Osorio, Managing Director for Grab Singapore.
This joint initiative further amplifies STB’s “We Don’t Wait For Fun” marketing campaign targeting visitors such as Millennial and Gen Z travellers as well as families with kids. The campaign showcases how Singapore’s unmatched efficiency and compact scale enable visitors to seamlessly explore diverse experiences, turning spontaneity into instant adventures while creating lasting memories.
By pairing destination storytelling with tangible discounts to reward consumers through the enhanced Singapore Grab Travel Pass, the joint campaign aims to increase awareness and encourage customer spending at a wider range of precincts, attractions and local businesses across the island.
Reaching Travellers Before and During Their Trip
The joint campaign will engage audiences at various stages of the user journey. Targeted digital ads will run across key Southeast Asian source markets to reach users who are actively planning a trip to Singapore. When visitors arrive in Singapore, Grab's in-app placements will reach visitors, surfacing the Singapore Grab Travel Pass and highlighting its precinct-focused vouchers for purchase.
