For Autumn-Winter ’15, the PUMA Suede makes a comeback in classic black-white and peacoat colourway as well as a monotone, black-on-black iteration.  Since its birth in 1968, the PUMA Suede has enjoyed a 47-year run as both a benchmark for footwear design and a cultural artifact from one of the most progressive and historically significant eras of the twentieth century. The 60’s city scene was packed with hot chicks in hot pants and tall boys in basketball shorts. That was when PUMA first lit a fire under culture's keister with the Suede silhouette. The industry rebel that said "nay" to ordinary leather, the Suede was a warm-up shoe made infamous by athletic greats such as basketball's Walt "Clyde" Frazier and the track's Tommie Smith.

The Suede hit new levels of fame during the '80s dawn of b-boys and hip hop beats, taking over New York City blocks. And to this day, it remains PUMA's most epic icon of sport-inspired styles with its smooth suede and streetwise swagger.

The style and form of the shoe is displayed through its carefully considered aesthetic. Suede uppers with perforated detailing at mid-foot partnered with lace closure for a snug fit, gives the Suede a smooth and sleek look. A grippy rubber outsole harks back to the shoe’s legacy of basketball courts and running tracks.
Priced at RM259, the PUMA Suede is now available at all PUMA Stores.
