FIRST MALAYSIA-BASED EVENTS MANAGEMENT COMPANY LISTED IN AUSTRALIA!

E-Plus Limited (E-Plus), one of Asia’s leading events management company, began trading today at 10:00AM Australia Eastern Daylight Time (GMT +10) on the National Stock Exchange of Australia (NSX) under the stock code, 8EP. A total of 245 million shares were issued and quoted at an initial market price of AUD0.05 (RM0.16) per share.

E-Plus achieved a giant milestone with its listing on NSX as the first Malaysia-based events management company to go public on Australian shores. The company made significant growth in its financial and business portfolio through prominent, high-adrenaline and record-breaking events and exhibitions such as the World Islamic Economic Forum, the United Buddy Bears Exhibition and the Melaka Art and Performance Festival. These are among the few events that have carved its name into the industry’s history books.

The company’s consistency in growing the brand name also led to the acquisition of international event rights for the Powerman World Series Duathlon Asia Championships as well as the FIM Asia Supermoto Championship recently.

“It has taken twelve long years to develop E-Plus into a global brand and all that hard work has finally paid off.  As the first ever events management company from Malaysia to be listed on the NSX, we have now stamped our mark in the region and look forward to playing in the international arena and moving on, we will be spreading our wings and establish more operations offices throughout Southeast Asia.  This will definitely be a new chapter for us, as we continue to secure international event rights as well as producing world class events in the region,” said Andrew Ching, Chief Executive Officer of E-Plus Limited.

In addition to client servicing and events management services, the company also offers integrated marketing services that include but not limited to events production, production support, 3D and graphic design services, media and communications as well as the acquisition of international event rights.
