A date with California Raisins

A great event had held recently and is time to get back to health and eat healthy. Neh! Healthy meal can never be delicious but now with the Raisins, you can grab a nice delighting meal with it. This time, we are happy to be invited to enjoy the nice meal curated by the handsome Michelin Celebrity Chef Emmanuel Stroobant along with guest Chef Erich Anton.

In here, we learned a lot about raisins where they are not just a normal snacks but they are really beneficial for health. California Raisins  are one of the healthy snack compared with the other snacks food as they are naturally sweet with no added sugar. Not just that, California Raisins are a very versatile ingredient and can inspire a wide repertoire of dishes—from appetisers and main dishes to desserts and beverages—especially as consumers are becoming more health conscious and more adventurous in their culinary endeavours.

The event started off with the opening note by Ms Rowena Ngumbang Agricultural Marketing Specialist U.S. Department of Agriculture followed by a speech by RAC’s Trade Promotions Director for Malaysia, Mr Richard Lieu.

For those who are not aware, California Raisins is something which is indeed benefits to health where they have high antioxidant. Some of the key benefits for Raisins includes

We then ended our meals wih the delicious desserts where Chef Erich Anton Roos brings us with the 3-in-1 dessert using raisins; California Raisin muffin with cream, California Raisin Cinnamon Ice Cream and Apple Puff

Of course, the meal will not be complete without a dessert. Chef Erich Anton Roos the patisseries expert has prepared a 3-in-1 dessert using raisins; California Raisin muffin with cream, California Raisin Cinnamon Ice Cream and Apple Puff to end the meal.
