It starts with getting quality ingredients – ensuring that we have complete traceability of the active ingredients in our products. Then, we begin with the manufacturing process, undergoing state-of-the-art blending, compression, packaging, and manufacturing to get high-quality products. Throughout the journey, rigorous in-process tests are performed.

All our manufacturing facilities meet or exceed good manufacturing practices, and our world-class laboratories have achieved the highest level of accreditation, which reflects our strict adherence to industry-leading standards. Our quality control laboratories comply with Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) and ISO 17025 accreditation protocols. 

We have six research and development facilities and eight quality control labs around the world. Our staff includes more than 300 scientists and Ph.Ds who set the company’s uniform global standard for quality in product development and production. We conduct relentless testing. In fact, we test our products both internally and through third-party certifying organizations to verify compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Even after our products are made, labeled, and packed, Herbalife Nutrition continues to monitor the environment in which said goods are stored. Temperatures are carefully monitored once the products are shipped. And each carefully selected and thoroughly approved ingredient is listed on every single product. 

Once our products are released to the market, having a comprehensive safety and quality vigilance program is essential to protecting our consumers. Our internal experts not only monitor health-related events in all 94 markets where we do business, but if somebody has a general product-related question, we also collect and respond to those. 

All product feedback is collected, evaluated, and responded to by dedicated health, science, or customer service professionals. In fact, a standardized questionnaire is used to collect any health- or product quality-related inquiries Herbalife Nutrition may receive. This helps ensure that sufficient information is obtained to fully comply with all safety vigilance regulations or Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) required in Malaysia or any other market where our products are sold.  Standardized collection formats also align with Herbalife Nutrition’s advanced internal technological platforms that allow data to be properly monitored with globally accepted statistical models for safety trending and signal detection.
