Beautifully sung by Brigitte Bardot, or BB as she was also known then, in the late 60s, our new T1/09 is an ode to something that was lost but now can finally be embraced a new summer friendship under the sun! A positive note after so much doom and gloom. A burst of positivity with colours galore! And that’s exactly what strikes you when picking up the T1/09 – the skeletonized dial underlayer shows a sun-drenched beach, deck chair beck- oning, while in the water a cheeky whale ogles keenly a lobster – and all this under the munificent rays of the SEVENFRIDAY SUN no less!

This picturesque scene is encircled by the bright white hour marker, itself hemmed in by shades of blue just like a tropical lagoon. The sense of cheerfulness and optimism is further enhanced by a generous dollop of white Berlac lacquer on the bezel itself and a dab of yellow on the crown for good measure too!

Importantly the T1/09 remains first and foremost a SEVENFRIDAY, with its dis-tinctive stainless-steel case and four-layer dial construction. On the reverse, you will find safely ensconced behind the artwork an NFC chip which allows you to link with UPO7F. Simply use your iPhone or Android, register, and start exchang- ing with likeminded individuals and receive special offers and invites. Or maybe use it to summon some more friends to the beach?

And just to make sure you understand this watch is made for summer and wet fun, it comes with a soft blue silicone strap and is waterproof to 30 meters, needed if you want to snorkel around the whale and lobster’s burgeoning idyll! So in our case Cetacean and Crustacean as opposed to Coquillages et Crustaces! But BB would agree: the beach is no longer abandoned.
