 Khairul Aming, the TikTok creator and entrepreneur renowned for the Sambal Nyet brand, has unveiled his latest product, Dendeng Nyet Berapi, exclusively on TikTok Shop. The TikTok LIVE stream of the product launch delivered an extraordinary performance, with an impressive 80,000 orders received and RM 1 million worth of products sold in less than 4 minutes. At its peak, over 3.3 million viewers tuned in during the 4-minute LIVE stream, solidifying Khairul Aming's influential presence in the digital marketplace.

Dendeng Nyet Berapi was exclusively launched on TikTok Shop, coinciding with the 2.2 Super Brand Day, which aims to propel the growth of local businesses This marks a historic moment as it is the first time a local product and brand have taken center stage in this major double-day campaign by TikTok Shop. TikTok Shop is providing an additional incentive for shoppers: an RM8 discount when purchasing a pack of six.

To enhance the excitement, TikTok Shop offered exclusive perks for LIVE streams:  all shoppers can enjoy complimentary shipping with a minimum spend. Moreover, buyers who joined the hashtag challenge not only engaged in the celebration but also stood a chance to win a generous one-year supply of Khairul's signature products.

The overwhelming response from consumers led to exponential growth, expanding operations to two factories in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, and providing employment to over 100 individuals. With an impressive sale of 3 million bottles of Sambal Nyet Berapi, the brand utilized its established facilities to embark on a year-long R&D process for the creation of Dendeng Nyet Berapi. This comprehensive journey encompassed recipe selection, machinery acquisition, and packaging design.
