See Young Launches in Malaysia with Guardian as Exclusive Retail Partner

See Young, China’s leading silicone-free scalp care brand, has officially entered the Malaysian market through an exclusive nationwide rollout at Guardian stores. The brand’s entry is in collaboration with its appointed local distributor, i-Care Marketing Sdn Bhd, marking a significant step forward in clean, wellness-focused hair care for Malaysian consumers.

Founded in 2014, See Young has grown to become the No.1 silicone-free hair care brand in China, with over 55 million bottles of its best-selling Ginger Shampoo sold to date. The brand is globally certified by Euromonitor and has received more than 10 industry awards in recognition of its product innovation, clean formulation, and market leadership.

Rooted in the philosophy that healthy hair begins with a healthy scalp, See Young redefines hair care as a wellness ritual. Its formulations are powered by traditional Asian botanicals such as ginger extract, Sapindus fruit, and fermented tea seed, all enhanced by patented 4D hyaluronic acid technology to deeply hydrate and protect the scalp barrier.

In Malaysia, the brand is introducing four targeted shampoo ranges, each designed to address specific scalp concerns:

🧴Anti-Hair Loss

🧴Oil Control

🧴Dandruff-Free Scalp

🧴Deep Nourishing Oil Control

All products are silicone-free, sulphate-free, and pH balanced, offering safe and effective scalp care solutions suitable for Malaysia’s tropical climate. Each shampoo is priced at an RRP of RM59.90.

“See Young’s arrival in Malaysia reflects a new era of conscious beauty, where scalp health is prioritised as much as skin health,” said Mr. Kevin Meng Fei, Vice President of Uniasia Group China and General Manager of See Young. “We are not just offering shampoo — we are introducing a complete scalp wellness system backed by science and centuries of plant-based wisdom.”

Guardian Malaysia is the exclusive retail partner for See Young, with the full range now available at all Guardian outlets nationwide.

“We are proud to introduce See Young to our customers as part of Guardian’s ongoing commitment to offering clean, trusted, and wellness-driven personal care brands,” said Jessica Barnabas, Head of Personal Care at Guardian Malaysia. “Consumers today are more ingredient-aware and health-conscious, and See Young offers exactly what they are looking for — performance-led, plant-powered hair care.”

A highlight of the launch was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between i-Care Marketing and Uniasia Group, officially appointing i-Care as the exclusive distributor of See Young in Malaysia.

With the global shampoo market projected to reach USD 58.3 billion by 2034, and scalp care being one of the fastest-growing segments, See Young’s entry into Malaysia is timely — aligning with rising demand for personalised, safe, and effective hair care solutions.
