Herbalife Celebrates Two Decades of Growth in Malaysia!

Herbalife, a premier health and wellness company, community and platform, marked 20 years in Malaysia, empowering Malaysians to live healthier, more active lives at its annual flagship event, Spectacular 2026.

Steven Chin, Senior Director and Manager of Herbalife Malaysia and Singapore, said, “Herbalife’s growth reflects the importance of maintaining good health in Malaysia, where more than half of adults are overweight or obese . As the world’s #1 protein shake, #1 active and lifestyle nutrition brand, and #1 weight management and well-being brand , Herbalife brings global science-backed expertise that is delivered locally through our strong community-based approach. Through education, guidance and consistent support, we help people build better habits. Over the past 20 years, we are proud to have empowered thousands of wellness entrepreneurs, whether full-time or flexible, to build better futures and uplift community health”.

He further added that initiatives such as the Healthy Active Lifestyle Campaign, Healthy Breakfast Campaign, Burn 1 Million Calories Challenge, Body Transformation Challenge and the recent National Wellness ‘Check In’ Campaign have inspired thousands to take charge of their wellness journeys. “We are grateful to our distributors, customers, employees and partners for making this journey possible, and we remain committed to helping more Malaysians live healthier lives.”

Held from 23 to 25 January at the Setia City Convention Centre (SCCC), the three-day event brought together over 4,000 Distributors from across the country for leadership development, business training and achievement recognition. It also featured international leaders and guest speakers who shared insights, inspired excellence, and helped participants upskill through advanced leadership and business best practices.

Herbalife also introduced a new Grape flavour for its Herbal Aloe Concentrate Mix, expanding the range alongside Original, Mango and Mandarin flavour. Available now for a limited time, the aloe-based drink supports digestive health and can be enjoyed on its own or blended with other Herbalife products.

“The new product underscores the company’s commitment to science-backed nutrition solutions that support healthier lifestyles and reinforces Herbalife’s dedication to delivering innovative nutrition solutions for Malaysians,” said Steven.

Beyond products, Herbalife continues to strengthen nutrition education and promote active lifestyles in Malaysia through collaborations with universities, professional bodies and government partners. This includes working with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) and the Nutrition Society of Malaysia (NSM) to support programmes that bring sports science and nutrition knowledge into practical learning and community education. Over the years, Herbalife has also collaborated with the National Sports Institute (ISN), the Malaysian Association of Sports Medicine (MASM), the Malaysian Exercise and Sport Science Association (MESSA) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports to support initiatives that encourage healthier, more active habits across different age groups.

Additionally, Herbalife supports communities through the Casa Herbalife programme under the Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF), its non-profit organisation and philanthropic arm. Over the past 20 years, the programme has benefited more than 3,000 children and distributed over RM5 million in grants championing nutrition literacy while supporting underserved communities.

Herbalife began operations in Malaysia in 2006 as the company’s 61st market globally and has since grown into a nationwide network of more than 1,100 nutrition clubs, making science-backed nutrition guidance and wellness support more accessible to communities across the country.
