Cruise to Phuket with Libra Starcruise and Hwajing Travel & Tours

Another trip this year and we are heading to Phuket. Yeah ! Is time to travel and this round we are not travelling by plane but we are going to cruise. Recently Hwajing Tours brings us with a shorter trip where they covers 3 days 2 night which is good for us who are looking for a short escape to relax.

We get our trip with Hwajing Tours as they provide to and from bus trip KL Penang where the trip will be departing from Berjaya Times Square at 7 am. Reaching at  Penang Port; you will have sometime to enjoy the local delights around the area. As we are invited to experience the journey, we are pretty excited to be there. The journey started with some hi-tea in the ship where one can sit down and get some great hi-tea delights which is superbly good.

After an awesome hi-tea, we have great time spending our time around the ship where you can grab opportunity to venture to many activities inside the ship itself. There are plentiful of activities that you can do which includes enjoying yourself with the breeze and looking the beauty of Penang island.

Other than that, one can go for some dancing classes or even dipped yourself in the pool and Jacuzzi too. 

They have loads of attractive activities like zumba, yoga, gym, and many more.

Being in the ship, you can almost eat whatever you can think off, they have plentiful choices of meals to go for and you can almost eat for 24 hours I could say. After a great buffet meal, we hopped back to our room which comes kinda spacious and they comes with a table for us to do some work and also to grab our life vest for their mandotory passenger safety drill. 

Whether you travel by plane or by ship, knowing the safety is indeed very important! This is where you will learned on what to do if any emergency occurs. It covers how to put on your safety life vests, and where you should assemble when emergency happens. 

Grab some show where they have a nice Magic Show Performance by James Long. Of course, we could not take any pictures of his performance but here is the youtube video we found online to share. His performance is awesome and eye - opening where we are all thrilled with his magnificent performance.

After this, we have a good rest in our room to welcome the next day but if you are hungry, they have buffets too. For those who loves stargazing, you can hop to the deck and hope for a chance of clear sky for your stargazing too.

Wake up early as early as 7 am ; and sit back and enjoy the sunrise. Grab the beautiful view of sunrise if you are lucky.

Our next day will be more fun where we are transporting ourself to Phuket. We started our morning with a breakfast in Ocean Palace. They do serves great buffets and you can enjoy them till the fullest. I usually love to have some fruits to furnish for my breakfast but they do have wide spread of buffets.

As for lunch, we had the Chinese Cuisine here. The Chinese Cuisine in Ocean Palace comes simply good and addictive too. Help yourself with all the delicious semi-buffet dining here. The food here is perfectly good and delicious and  the serving comes generous for 2 person.

We then held down to Phuket and for those who wanted to venture the town can book their Roundtrip transfers from Hwajing directly or even the inside tour by cruise itself. Being a foodie, I am of course going down to the town itself and get myself soaked with food, spa, massage and more. We really enjoyed what we had where you can find us dining from street food to small shops in Patong.

We are back and we tried some ala-carte delights from Spices. Booked yourself a table and you can enjoy Award - Winning Chef to cook you a luxurious HALAL Malay Delights with a twist. Enjoy chef signature from their grilled lobsters, to their kerabu and many more.

And after the meal, enjoy some of the shows here which is One In A Million. The superb show not to be missed here

And of course; you will get more fun at night where we GONNA PARTY! Enjoy the performance and BANANA theme party. Lets get fun with all the banana dishes which are being served too.  They have the banana pizza, banana cake, banana desserts and many more to be served

Everything must come to an end after the lovely 3 days 2 nights trip. We ends our trip of course with the hearty breakfast.

Before leaving, we got more SURPRISES as we had a chance to visit the cockpit of the ship and understand how these captains work. We are amazed how they work and what are the procedure in their working environment.

Not just that, we visited the kitchen as well and comes to our surprises,, they cooked everything with electric or using steam ovens, multi cookers in their cooking. No gas allowed in their cooking. We learned a lot from this FAM trip  and enjoyed them.
