‘FACE UNLOCK’ Comes to the honor 7X and honor 9 Lite

honor, the world’s No.1 e-brand for digital natives today announced the official rollout of the FACE UNLOCK update for both the honor 7X and honor 9 Lite. The feature will be made available on the honor 7X starting from today onwards and the honor 9 Lite from 3 April onwards in batches.

The FACE UNLOCK feature which records more than 1,000 data points on your face is safer with the option for users to hide content notifications on the lock screen, where it will only be shown when your face is recognised.                               

The honor 7X when launched last year was Malaysia’s most affordable FullView display smartphone with a 5.93-inch edge-to-edge, bezel-less screen design that provides remarkable display quality and achieves an extraordinary high screen-to-body ratio. The honor 9 Lite which is honor’s first Lite series that was introduced this March made history in Malaysia with record-breaking sales in the smartphone category on the e-commerce platform, Shopee with daily sales of over 2,500 units sold in just six hours.
